The LaPorte County Medical Society is a non-profit, voluntary, professional medical organization that serves over 300 practicing physicians throughout LaPorte County, Indiana.
|
Founded in 1875, the Society is an active medical organization featuring monthly networking, social and educational meetings, the Society services both its members and the residents of LaPorte County by way of:
- Representing practicing physicians on matters involving medical legislation
- Sponsoring of Continuing Medical Education
- Providing camaraderie with other LaPorte County practicing physicians
- Acting as the medical voice for advancing, promoting and maintaining health and wellness in LaPorte County
- Acting as an advocate for physician and patient rights via local, state and national civic and governmental agencies and forums
- Facilitating communication with LaPorte County citizens on matters of medical concern
- Offering LaPorte County citizens an open avenue for medical inquiries
