The LaPorte County Medical Society is a local medical organization dedicated to serving its practicing physician members, advocating patients’ rights and serving as the medical voice for advancing health and welfare for all of LaPorte County, Indiana.

Our non-profit, professional medical organization holds regular membership meetings five times each year, on the third Tuesday of each month. At these meetings, members can share their concerns and ideas, enjoy friendly camaraderie, as well as earn category one Continuing Medical Education (CME) training credits.
These meetings are held at various locations throughout LaPorte County and feature an introductory social/networking period, followed by dinner and a continuing medical education presentation covering a variety of topics. Additionally, some meetings are designated as “Guest Meetings”, at which practicing physician members may invite a guest of their choice to join them for the purpose of introducing them to the Society.

Additionally, once every other month, the LaPorte County Medical Society Board of Directors conducts a regular board meeting. At this meeting, board members typically discuss topics of interest to the Society including upcoming events, new members, activity surrounding state and local medical legislation and other Society related news.
